Chandigarh: With Gurugram and Faridabad topping tables, the defeat of Rs 409.6 Crore was lied to as avoiding stamp duty from 23,779 absent from all Haryana Regency.
This was revealed in response to Mullana Mla Varun Chaudhary’s question about the pending case of part 47A from the Indian stamp law.
Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala gave details.
In Faridabad, the number that has not been restored is Rs 64.56 Crore in 2,212 cases.
This figure is Rs 48.61 Crore in 2,929 cases in Gurugram, Rs 43.81 Crore in 1,226 cases in Palwal, RS 35.23 Crore at 1,376 cases in Karnal, and RS 31.52 Crore at 1,672 cases in Palwal.
In six districts, pendencies range from Rs 12 Crore to Rs 27 Crore.
Noah is the only district that is not by default.
According to information, this default is caused by miscalculation of stamp duty by assessing or staff and has been revealed during the audit by income staff at the next stage after registration of sales or other actions.
“Usually, this recovery is influenced in two months after being detected by the staff.
But, in Haryana, the case is already 10 years.
This is a way to encourage avoidance of stamp duty and errors in the income department by income officials,” said Congress Mla Chaudhary.
