Chandigarh: The Supreme Court on Friday issued a notification to the Government of Trade Union, all states and UTS countries about requests seeking instructions to examine and develop uniform payment structures for employees who work in the High Court in this country.
The division bench consisting of justice A M Khanwilkar and Justice Sanjiv Khanna has issued a notice after hearing the petition submitted by all Indian High Court employees companies.
SC was told that the applicant was an association whose members were employees of various high courts throughout the country.
Although the nature of the work carried out by HC employees throughout the country is the same, there are differences in scale and emptiness and their discrimination in connection with the determination of their work payments, benefits and conditions.
They have been looking for clues to provide uniforms or payment structures / scale of basic payments, empoles etc.
and other working conditions to its members work in all state high courts.
Further direction has also been sought to refer HC employees throughout India to commissions headed by Justice P Venkatarama Reddy, to check and suggest functional appointments to post according to work content and suggest simplification / modification of cadres recommend permanent mechanisms to be reviewed in conditions Service of high court employees throughout India periodically.
It has also been done by the Applicant Association to check the working conditions of HC staff and suggest steps for improvement.
