Nagpur: ‘Sengsit Operation’ which was intended by AAM AADMI Party Office-Bearer, Prabhat Agrawal, on Monday exposed the alleged shortcomings in the distribution of aadhaar cards in the city.
Agrawal claimed to have found around 250 aadhaar cards with a memo dealer in North Nagpur.
Agrawal told TOI that he received information that the memo dealer from the Christian colony in Mecosibagh distributed aadhaar cards from his residence.
The scrap dealer claimed to have found aadhaar cards in garbage and gave them to his neighbors.
“Scrap dealer shop near Kadbi Chowk.
Neighbors and Memo dealers are called telephone numbers given on the aadhaar card and hand them over to people for each RS20,” said Agrawal who had filed a complaint with a jaripatka police station in this connection.
The police jaripatka had collected a memo dealer and asked further.
When agrawal asked about aadhaar cards, the memo dealer said to take it from his neighbor.
Agrawal claims that after gaining their confidence, they submit a lot of Aadhaar cards.
“Who gives a lot of Aadhaar cards to the scrap dealer? This is an investigation problem,” he said.
Aadhaar cards are sent by uidai to the housing address only by post.
The card entered the envelope.
“However, in this case, all cards without envelopes.
No private parties have the right to distribute cards this way,” Agrawal said.
Aadhaar cards are considered valid ID evidence in almost all government offices.
“Abuse so many cards lying down with memo dealers cannot be ruled out,” he said.
AAP Office-Bearer suspects that aadhaar cards may also be bogus.
Police Inspector Vaibhav Jadhao said, “We will try to verify this during the question of a memo dealer.
Preliminary question revealed that the Memo dealer might have found a card somewhere in the city and called the card holder to hand over it.”
