Guwahati: The order of improvement has been applied in the Catald area in Sonitpur Assam Regency because the threat caused by the leopard, which has hurt four people in the village so far, an official said on Tuesday.
Showing human threats, cattle and other pets, the district judge applies part 144 CRPC, prohibits the movement of people at night in the Kataludub area under the Therlamara police station and around Monday night.
The order will remain valid until the leopard is captured.
Four people have been injured by leopards in the village so far.
