Jorthat: The day after five assam police personnel were killed and around 70 others were injured in the border clash with Mizoram, security measures were enhanced along the area bordering Nagaland in the Jorhat district on Tuesday.
“Security measures have been intensified in all purposes of vulnerable along the boundary between countries.
Security forces have been assigned to prevent unwanted incidents.
Patrol and regular examination are being carried out,” said a police officer in Jorhat.
