Bengaluru: With a report that shows that BJP’s high orders can make major changes in Karnataka, the Chairperson of the BS Minister Yediyurappa seems to be prepared for a power show involving Mutt various castees.
On Tuesday, more than 20 layers of lingayat bait from various parts of the country met Yediyurappa to express their support for him.
They said that if the BJP high command did not reconsider the plan reported for leadership changes in the next two to three days, more than 300 pontist would gather in Bengaluru to decide on the next action.

Another fortune teller group, led by Shivamurthy Murugharajendra Swamiji from Murugha Mutt in Chitradurga, held a press conference and demanded that Yediyurappa must continue his role.
“He is a mass leader and enjoys support and respect from all casts and communities.
Releasing it will prove to be a big loss for BJP,” he said.
Basava Murthy Swamiji from Madara Channaiiah Teacher Peetha, a leading mutt of the scheduled tribe also said that Yediyurappa has helped all parts of society, and he must be allowed to complete his term of office.
“It will be good for the country and BJP,” he added.
Siddarameshwara Swamiji from Bhovi Teacher Peetha and Shanthavea Swamiji from Kunchitigara Teacher Pearha made a similar statement.
The development seems to be a repetition of what happened in 2011 when BJP Kuningan asked Yediyurappa to resign after Lokayukta charged him in the case of illegal mining.
He managed to get support from most of Mlaas and Mutt Lingayat, ensuring that the party pointed to a replacement for his choice, DV Sadandada Gowda.
“Continuing the event today, it seems that Yediyurappa will not accept dictates from high command unless the requirements are fulfilled.
But it is also true that he is currently dealing with a strong Duo Modi-Shah instead of Advani-Rajnath,” said a senior BJP official.
