Bengaluru: A BJP official in Shivamogga has been arrested by the Central Crime Police Crime about allegations of deceptive secretaries with Batang Karnataka State and owner of the Restaurant Association of Rs 25 Lakh.
The police identified the defendant as more Bhavani Rao.
The case of extortion and cheating had been registered against more based on the complaint submitted by Suresh B.Cording to source, Suresh filed a complaint to the Interior Minister Araga Jnanendra against more and the CCB police arrested him on Thursday.
Then, he was handed over to Taman Cubbon police.
Suresh stated in his complaint that the city police commissioner was directed to close all bars where women served in town 15 days ago and they opened two days later.
More learning about it and approached Suresh on October 23.
More claimed that he was an active BJP worker and made contact with political leaders.
He convinced Suresh that he would make arrangements not to close the bar served by a woman with the help of minister at home.
Suresh took the time to discuss this issue with the carrier of his association office.
Suresh, accompanied by Javaregowda and Santosh Rai from the association, once again met more on October 26.
They collected more than RS 1.2 Crore from 44 members of the Association and gave it to more on October 30.
