Bengaluru: The leader of the senior Congress in Karnataka and former Minister of Sidaramaiiah’s chairman will leave for Delhi on Monday after a call from the party’s high command.
According to sources close to Siddaramaiiah, he will reach Delhi on Monday and meet various leaders.
He is expected to meet with the President of Sonia Gandhi’s party on Tuesday they added.
The source said this meeting regarding the appointment of office carriers and strategies for the selection of assemblies.
Delhi Siddaramaia’s visit assumed the significance as part of MLA and leaders including Chickpet MLA BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan and Kampli Mla Jn Ganesh openly supported him to lead the country in the majority congresses in the election of the assembly in 2023, while others want the Head of the State of the DK Shivakumar Congress to take a role.

A week after Siddaramaia, Shivakumar will visit Delhi on July 26.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday in Bagalkote, Shivakumar said there was a national level meeting of the State President Congress and the legislative party leaders of the Congress to discuss the upcoming strategy of parliament sessions.
The parliamentary rainy session will be held from July 19 to August 13 amid a Pandemic Covid-19.
Also studied that the Secretary General of the National AICC and Karnataka Party responsible for Randeep Singh Surjewala will also visit the state and hold a meeting with the office carrier here.
