Chandigarh: Interim President AICC Sonia Gandhi on Sunday night finally dropped the appointment of the former Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu as the president of the Punjab Congress in an effort to put his lid among Amarinder Singh’s minister and politicians who turned with cricket.
Sonia also appointed four Punjab leaders – Urmal Urmur MLA very Singh Gilzian, Jandiala Teacher Mla Sukhwinder Singh Danny, Fatehgarh Sahib Mla Kuljit Singh Nagra and Pawan Goel – as president of work in the state.
The four promises are made to maintain social balance because various communities and caste groups have been looking for more representations in the party punjab unit.
Gilzian is OBC, Danny is Dalit, Nagra JAT Sikh and Goel a Hindu.
None of the president of work belonging to the CM camp.
The press statement issued by the Secretary General of the Venugopal Party also respected the contribution of the PCC President out Sunil Jakhar.
Nagra has been freed from the current responsibility of the Congress from Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura.
When Sidhu was appointed as the president of the Punjab Party with a direct effect, Jakhar canceled the MLA party meeting and the district president he had made on Monday afternoon.
The height of Sidhu came only a day after Amarinder repeated him will accept Sonia Gandhi’s decision about the Head of the New Punjab Congress.
