Bathinda: Sonu Sood-Philanthropic Actor, which emerged as a real life hero for thousands of migrants during locking, on Sunday announced the intention of Malvika Sood Sachar to join political punjab, but added that he had no plans for himself.
Sood, who came from the Moga District, said his sister had done a lot of extraordinary work in the past and wanted to strengthen its activities.
Speaking to the media of people in Moga, his hometown, Sood said Malvika would oppose the next assembly selection.
“Manifesto elections, where political parties make many promises but most of the time of complaints continue to emerge from (parties) do not fulfill these promises, must be a holy document and parties must provide a guarantee to fulfill what they promised manners.
Malvika Will give a written statement from what he promised to people.
And if he fails to give, he will surrender (politics), “he said.
Sood, however, did not say from which party he would join, said it would be announced at the right time.
Asked whether he would join politics, said the sood for now, he would support his sister to serve the community in a better way.
About their agenda to enter politics, he said education, health and unemployment will be the core area for him and his family, and they will continue to work for the basic needs of quality education, affordable medical care and provide employment in need.
For some time now, after he met the chairman of the Minister of Delhi and AP Convener National Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi in August, there had been speculation about the sood testing political waters.
He recently met with Minister Punjab Chararjit Singh Channi in Chandigarh and his predecessor of captain Amarinder Singh before that.
He also plans to meet with Sad President Sukhbir Singh Badal soon.
He called all the political leaders he had met as “extraordinary people”, but had a special praise word for Channi, said he was a very humble and polite person.
It is said that President PCC Navjot Singh Sidhu also relates to the sood and may meet him immediately.
Malvika has worked for people hopefully.
Malvika said he did not consider joining politics and more into charity.
But there is hope of people and now the effort will serve them with full force, he said.
The sood said after Covid-19, he had concentrated to provide assistance to people who suffered dengue fever, especially those who needed dialysis.
“Dialysis facilities have been started today,” he said, adding that anyone who needs it must contact his family or the Family managed Sood Foundation, he said.
