Chandigarh: Finance Minister Union Nirmala Sitharaman, while leading a meeting with the Ministerial Minister and Minister of Finance through video conferencing on Monday, the steps taken by Haryana to reduce the loss of the power distribution company (discount), claim the Haryana government.

Khattar said under structural reform in the electricity sector, the state government made a special effort to reduce dirty distribution and a commercial deficit discount under Uday.
In the past five years, the gross distribution and commercial deficit decreased from 30.02% in 2015 to 16.22% by 2020-21.
During 2017-18, discounts reached operating profit / RS.
412 crore by reaching financial turnover two years before the target year.
This profit is Rs 291 Crore in 2018-19 and RS 331 Crore in 2019-20, he told.
CM said Discount Haryana has signed a limited energy-saving service to install 10 lakh smart meters in the next 3 years.
As many as 2.15 lakh smart meters have been installed in the country in December 2020.
The SMART measurement project with discounts includes several citizens’ features such as prepaid facilities, reading-based billing trust, missed call facilities to see bill bills online, make bill payments online, make Payment bills through the Post Office, the level of customer satisfaction for new connections and the average shipping service time, shared by Khattar.
