Chikkaballala (Karnataka): At least six people were killed and several others were injured in an accident involving the jeep and trucks in Marinayuahalli in Chintamani Taluk, police sources said on Sundays.
Among the dead are two women and four men.
According to the police, more people were injured in the accident and underwent treatment at the hospital.
They say the number of victims can rise.
Police officers and Chintamani MLA J K Krishna Reddy have visited the place.
