Jammu: Six people killed when their vehicle traveled slipping from the road and fell to the canyon near Nagriana in Kerithwar District Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday.
The sources of the police said, “Eco-van (JK17-5089) slipped from the road and rolled into the canyon near Nagriana.” “Five people were killed in a place while one person died on his way to the hospital,” they said.
“A Van Passenger tonight (around 5:30 a.m.) met with an accident near Nagriana Keshwan at Thakrie Block of Kiswar, said Senior Police Supervisor (SSP), Kishtwar, Shafqat Hussain.” Soon after the accident, a large rescue operation was launched , “he said.
He added,” Five people were killed in that place while one person gave up on the way to the hospital and was declared dead.
“Meanwhile, the deceased has been identified as Ahmad Latief, son of Abdul Samad, son of Ahmed, Ahmed son) butt ; Irfan Ahmad, son of Ghulam Haider Shiekh; Ghulam Hassan, son of Mohammad Butt; Atta Mohammad, son of Ahmed Butt; and Zubair Ahmad, Atta’s son – All residents of Nagriana.
The police have registered FIR (N0 16/22 U / S 279/304) At the Kishtwar police station and investigations have moved.
