Guwahati: Six Police Assam was killed and around 80 people, including officials, injured in shooting by Mizoram police and allegedly Mizo bullies along the border between countries in Cachar’s Lialapur on Monday as a limit for a 25-year boundary that increased to be full.

“Neutral” CRPF can take back border control between countries.
“The minister at home has spoken with the main ministers of the two countries and asked them to maintain the status quo,” said a senior bureaucrat.
Sarma down to Twitter again Monday to say “clear evidence is now beginning to appear that unfortunately shows Mizoram police using a light machine gun (LMG) against personnel @asampolice”.
He said the attack “speak volume about the intention and gravity of the situation”.
The source in the central forces strengthened the CM statement that Mizoram police used LMGs.
Minister of Parallel Suklabaidya, who came from Cachar, was contested by Mizoram’s charges that the first bullet was fired by the Assam police.
“The shooting from the side of Mizoram is similar to the one by the UK in Jallianwala Bagh,” he said.
In his official statement, Minister of Home Mizoram said, “About 200 armed police Assam led by IGP, Police Assam, accompanied by DC (Cachar), SP (Cachar) and DFO (Cachar), came to the Vairengte (Mizoram) Autorickshaw Stand around 11:30 Morning and stormed the task post was manned by a part of the Mizoram police personnel.
“Lalchamliana also accused the police holding the Taton from Assam from attacking the population of the city of Vairengte and exploded tear gas shells.
“The confrontation continued and Tokol Tokol’s shot and grenade was launched at the Mizoram police, followed by shooting from the side of Assam at 4.50 in the afternoon.
Mizoram police respond spontaneously by shooting again,” he said.
The Mizoram government said it “deeply regretted unnecessary injuries on both sides, which could be avoided”.
“The Mizoram government desires that border problems between countries and Assam are resolved in the atmosphere of peace and understanding,” said the statement.
Making shooting on Monday has begun at several points along the border between countries in Cachar and Hailakandi District from Assam after the official encouragement to reclaim the land allegedly conveyed by “criminals from Mizoram”.
Bara-coal conflict in need of central intervention on two occasions last year was revived in Juky 10, when Ied was thrown at the Assam government team who visited the border.
Two back-to-back explosions were reported across the border the next morning.
Mizoram and Assam shared a 164.6 km border.
Some rounds of dialogue involving the center have been held since 1995 to resolve disputes, even with a little success.
