Amritsar: Security border personnel (BSF) held a smuggler when he tried to take a heroin which was packaged in two bottles of the fields located outside the border fence in the field of responsibility of 103 battalions in the Ferozpur sector.
According to the BSF release issued on Friday, the smugglers were arrested when he tried to hide 2 bottles of heroin in a tractor.
Heroin weight is around 950 grams, the release said.
Sources informed that Pakistani smugglers have thrown two bottles filled with heroin in the Indian region and have told their Indian colleagues after Indian smugglers have surpassed the border fence to take heroin.
