Mangaluru: Social workers from Panja Village in Sultia have celebrated special events with social messages.
Jinnappa Gowda, 49, celebrates the marriage wedding by spreading social messages through art.
He got a compound wall of his house painted with different social messages, including those on the protection of Covid.
Gowda said, “On the opportunity for our 25th wedding anniversary, I want to do something special that will motivate the community.
So I painted a compound wall of my house on two themes with the help of Suresh, a film set designer.
One part of the wall is on the wall Vaccination campaigns together with the importance of washing hands and wearing masks.
Other parts have paintings on the importance of cleanliness, water conservation, environmental protection and adult education.
“Gowda and his wife, Leelavathi, who runs a small shop, celebrates their wedding anniversary on June 24.
“We want minors to reveal murals.
Therefore it can’t happen, we do it yourself by offering puja on Monday,” he said.
Gowda is now harvesting rain water at his house.
Rainwater from the roof is channeled to the open well.
His son, Jagadeesh, worked as an engineer for a private company.
