Chandigarh: While putting aside the possibility of a direct cabinet reshuffle, the Minister of Punjab Chairman Amarinder Singh on Saturday said his government had implemented several points from the agenda of the 18-point high-command party which was a lot of hiped.
Replying to another question about two power centers in Congress, Captain Amarinder said there was nothing unusual as Navjot Singh Sidhu in the capacity of the PPCC President and he as the main minister carried out two different set responsibilities.
CM said he also remained President of PPCC and knew very well about the tasks of the party’s president.
In addition, the government and the party are two different entities that have a specified role.
In the issue of agenda 18 points given by the Kharge Committee appointed by AICC, the minister’s chairman said that there was some confusion in this matter because his government had applied several points from this agenda and the rest will be achieved soon.
Amarinder said that he had told Sonia Gandhi and Kharge about this problem in their meeting.
President PPCC Sidhu has raised points18 points in all his meetings.
The agenda was delivered to the main minister by the AICC panel of three members.
Deciding the possibility of a direct cabinet reshuffle, however, captain Amarinder said he would definitely discuss this issue with a high party order during his visit to Delhi.
He is likely to meet with the President of Congress Sonia Gandhi around next week.
While interacting with MediaTpersons in Sunam Udham Singh Wala (Sangrur) after dedicating Shaheed Udham Singh’s warning to the people here during the state-level function in the 82nd martyrdom of the large revolutionary, the minister’s head said that the party’s position is now good and the same must be consolidated Furthermore until the election.
