Amritsar: Female Security Security’s Force (BSF) Inspector General (IG), Sonali Mishra, on Monday became the first woman to lead the Punjab border sensitive to the troops on Monday.
Ig Mishra took over his new post at the BSF Punjab Frontier headquarters in Jalandhar.

The former BSF border IG Punjab M Malhi said, “Women will advance and perform well in every field and only a matter of time before a female officer takes over any border.” He said he was sure a woman IG would appear and also the other IGS had appeared and there should be no difference.
