Bengaluru: The alleged hackers of Srikrishna Ramesh aka Sriki and his friend Wisnu Bhat, was picked up by the police for a fight at a star hotel here on Saturday afternoon, arrested after they tested marijuana consumption.
Based on the blood test report, the police Jeevan Bima Nagar arrested sriki and bhat under the 27 drugs of narcotics and psychotropic substances, 1985 (punishment for consumption of narcotics drugs or psychotropic substances).
Then, the police were looking for a bhat house in Indiranagar and claimed to have confiscated 10 cigarettes filled with marijuana, along with several marijuana powders.
The police did not recover such material from the sriki room in the fourth floor room.
According to a senior police officer, the duo was arrested under the NDPS law around 10pm.
Both were produced before a judge on Sunday night which directed that they were produced in court before him on Monday and until then, remained in court detention.
Previously, Bhat and Sriki were arrested under the Code of India 323 (voluntary causing injuries) and 504 (intentional insults with the intention to provoke peace violations) for allegedly attacking hotel staff.
Bhat tries to enter the lobby without entering the details on the list when the hotel staff stops it, leads to an altercation.
Bhat comes to see sriki, who has stayed at the hotel for more than 55 days.
Acting on police complaints, the duo was taken to the police station Jeevan Bima Nagar.
