Bengaluru: The number of farmers who are dying because suicide in Karnataka is at the age of 25 with excessive rain – enough for good results and not too much causing flooding – coming to the saving of farmers in recent years.
The government connects the decline in death against farmer-friendly policies that complement each other by the center and country.
From 1997 to 2021, the state has seen 47,871 death of farmers by suicide.
Data from the Ministry of Agriculture shows that between 1997 and 2019, the number of deaths in a year has been more than 1,000, breaking 1,400 marks forbade one year.
In 2014, the state saw 768 deaths like that.
In 2020, the country recorded 766 deaths, where the government had received 583 as genuine and some cases were being investigated.
As of October 2021, there were 202 deaths with 99 received and the rest were in an investigation.
The old problem remained unsolved, say the solutions to farmer leaders showed the highest number of deaths – 11,229 – reported between 1997 and 2001; followed by 10,839 between 2007 and 2011; and 10,000 pluses from 2002 to 2006.
In five years since 2011, death dipped by 30% with 7,694 cases reported between 2012 and 2016.
The less death – 7,525 – has been reported between 2017 and 2021, thanks most of the past two years .

Our department has initiated a program that benefited farmers.” Farmer leaders told the Toi that some long problems continued to encourage farmers to death.
KS Sudheer Kumar, Secretary General of the State, Akhanda Rajya Raitha Sangha, said: “We are lucky that the amount has fallen.
From the lack of good prices for our results on improper flood management and procurement and implementation of schemes, the government has not done enough to prevent killing Farmers’ self lack of water, launching plant and insurance surveys, began issuing early warning via SMS, and made pesticides and fertilizers available in time.
Previously, the procurement of fertilizer from the center on time was a problem.
“The government has 65 farmers lakh on the database.
Constant communication is done via SMS about the scheme.
