Silchar: a man, who was arrested from a village in the Patharkandi Block from Karimanji Regency on Friday in connection with a murder case, a sustainable critical injury after being shot when he was suspected of trying to escape the police detention on Saturday.
Senior police officers said Islam which Sarifuly alias Moyna was arrested from the village of Khilahorbond in Wee hours on Friday after interrogating three suspects.
Moyna told the police about the gun used to kill Habibur Bahar Khandakar alias, last week.
The police team, led by the police deputy supervisor (Karimanj) Gittha Sharma, then went to Moyna’s house in Khilahorbond to recover a gun.
After they reached Khilahorbond, Moyna suddenly took her to a secret place, issued a single factory.
