Bengaluru: A teenager was saved by the Railway Protection Force personnel (RPF) on Friday after alleged attempts to commit suicide at Krantivera Station Sangolli Rulanna.
The boy was advised and reunited with his parents.
Resources of southwestern trains here said the incident occurred on Friday night after a man approached the ‘Nanhe Farishe’ team from RPF at the entrance to the KSR Bengaluru City Railway Station and told them that his nephew, a 16-year-old boy boy, Lost from home.
The man told the officer that the boy had sent a video on a cellphone and he seemed to reflect on suicide.
The video showed the boy under the train.
The team identified that teenagers were at the location of the city train station; Photographs of men and videos circulated on WhatsApp to the RPF staff at the station.
The staff parted way to six teams to find the boy, which was immediately found under coach of the city of Bengaluru-New Delhi Express Special Train.
The boy was advised and left to his parents.
