Temple to launch a ‘Green Kukke’ campaign

Mangaluru: In an effort to make the village of Kukke Greener, Kukke Temple Sri Subrahmanya has decided to launch a ‘Hasiru Kukke’ campaign.
Category Temple Under the Department of Muzrai, which has recorded the highest income collection in the state, will launch a green initiative with respect to 14 organizations, to plant 2,000 puppies in 14 locations in Kukke Village, where the temple is located.
This campaign will be launched by Minister Muzrai, City of Shrinivas Poojari in front of the temple, after the ritual was carried out on Tuesday.
Kukke Temple Managing Committee President Mohanram Sulli said that puppies from various tree species will be planted in Kukke Village, surrounding the temple.
“This is an attempt to make a greener village.
Organizations that hold hands with the temple will also take responsibility to protect the puppies they planted.
The priests from Kukke Temple will offer rituals in all 14 locations, before the start of the campaign,” he said.
The anus will be planted on the road from the entrance to Kukke Temple to Kumaradhara, where Adi Subrah Hangan Temple and many other places.

And Taxi, Kumaraswamy Institutes, KVG Ayurveda College, NersaGa Yuvaka Mandala, Subrahmanya Gram Panchayat and Subrahmanya Cooperative Society will join hands with the temple to launch the Green Kukke campaign, he added.
The temple with the highest income collection in Karnataka was closed because of the worshipers due to locking from April 21.
