Guwahati: Police in the Central Nagaon District Assam, acting based on specific information, damaging prostitution rackets on Friday and holding 10 people in connection with this case.
Of the 10 people, 6 was a woman and a man including the owner of the Mridu Pawan Saikia home.
Saikia is a resident of Lakhinagar Chariai.
“We have information that rackets of prostitutes are running here.
We have done a raid here today and arrested 10 people in connection with this case.
10, We have arrested two women by hand.” Police said that some students were found living in Saikia’s residence.
“Some unpleasant items and 70,000 cash rs have recovered from Saikia’s residence.
Other people who remain rental will also be questioned in connection with this case,” the police said.
On Sunday night, the police damaged the sex racket at One or Rahman’s home in the SiyataLimari area.
The police also arrested two red youth and three girls in place along with two bicycles and other unpleasant items.
Nagaon Inspector Police Anand Mishra said that the police had increased their journey against illegal activities in this district.
