Guwahati: Former Student Nature Workers (Aasu) Assam, who was shot by the police after he suspected that he attacked the police with his helmet after a fight on Saturday night in the Nagaon district, was tested positive for Covid-19 at Genehati Medical College and Hospital.
The doctor said Kirticamal’s right thigh was cracked in the incident but his condition was stable.
He tested positive Covid after a quick antigen test and was shifted to Ward Covid-19.
Shared to Mediaderpons, GMCH Inspector Abhijit Sarma said, “The main bone of his right thigh was broken and open.
We have also found an entry and a wound out of the bullet on his feet.
Apart from it, a light injury is on his left forehead, left arm and left thigh arm.” He said the main treatment was given to Bora.
“Orthopedic doctors will decide about further treatment.
As far as concerns head injuries, we have not found anything serious in the test history,” Sarma added.
