Bengaluru: With public transport riders in the city increase, Namma Metro and BMTC have intensified the enforcement of Covid-19 safety rules.
Commuters who do not use masks are slapped with a fine.
Between July 1 and July 12, a fine of RS 2.8 lakh was collected from 1,148 Metro riders, according to the Note Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
