Chandigarh: Former Minister of Amarinder Singh, Punjab Lok Congress, finally got a symbol of his election – a hockey stick and ball.
The party has signed a chair sharing agreement with BJP and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa of Sad (Sanyukt).
Amarinder tweeted, “Nice to tell you that Punjab Lok Congress has received a symbol of his party – a hockey stick and ball.” Nice to know that Punjab Lok Congress has received a party symbol – Hockey Stick and Ball.
Supremo Amarinder Singh Tweeted this photo from the symbols of his party, he resigned as the main minister in September last year, Amarinder announced his decision to launch his own political party.
He hopes to eat into the traditional vote from Congress by joining BJP.
However, this alliance has not yet worked on the details of sharing seats and provides clarity whether Amarinder will become a candidate for the head of minister at the front together.
A party leader said the six member committees had been formed to decide on the division of seats and panels held a meeting on Monday.
Details will be announced soon, he said.
