Aizawl: A conglomerate of major churches in Mizoram has called for prayers throughout the country on Sunday to contain the spread of Covid-19 as the northeastern state of grappling with the second wave of pandemic.
The Mizoram Kohhran Hruaitute Committee (MKHC) asked people to hold prayers at their home at 7pm, said a church leader on Saturday.
The prayer program will be held at the Zarkawt Presbyterian church building in Aizawl, which will be aired directly through local cable television, he said.
