Jammu: The mini bus slips off the road and rolled into the canyon in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, leaving nine dead passengers and 15 others were injured, officials said.
The mini bus brought passengers to Thathri from Doda when the accident took place in the Sui Gowrie area, they said.
The bus cracked when it fell into a canyon.
While eight people died in place, others gave up on injury on the way to the hospital.
Seven injured is being flown to the Medical Government Hospital (GMC) in Jammu for special treatments while others are brought to GMC in Doda, they said.
The Union Minister, Jitendra Singh spent the loss of life in the accident.

Whatever further assistance will be given, he said.
