The elderly couple was cremated, the defendant’s wife questioned

Guwahati: The police here on Thursday interrogated several elderly murders accusing Akash Choudhury’s wife for the second day, while family members cremated the victims after the oldest daughter arrived here from London.
Bhanita Nath, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Women’s Unit), Guwahati, said the police interrogated Akash’s wife in connection with the murder which took place on Monday night.
He will be released later, he said.
Minister of Justice Minister Himanta Buswa Sarma on Wednesday night visiting a family of couples in Beltola, near the complex capital dispurs.
“Forensic reports have come.
Police get evidence.
The researchers will share details in the next or two days,” he said.
He added that the government was thinking about installing more CCTVs in the city to prevent crime.
“We must increase coverage,” he said.
