Guwahati: With the third wave of Covid-19 in a country showing signs nearing the end, the Assam government has decided to withdraw all restrictions from February 15, but with multiple vaccination drivers for council exam students, participants, public meeting participants and cine Goots.
“The Covid situation in the state has increased and on February 15 must improve further.
So, we have decided to attract all covid-related limitations.
There will be no curfew, schools will be reopened, cinemas can have 100% viewers except that.
Masks and the use of Santiser will be mandatory, “said Minister of Himanta’s head Bishwa Sarma.
On Monday, the ratio of the positivity test fell to less than 2% for the first time in 32 days.
Over the past three days since Friday, the ratio of state test positivity remains below 3% and the number of active cases, mostly in house isolation, has dropped to around 9,000 from 49,000 highs on January 22.
Sarma added that life would be normal from February 15.
“There will be points for the 10th and 12 class exams must get themselves multiply.
So, I recommend it starting early so they have a second dose on time,” he said.
“Double vaccination will also apply to guests at the wedding ceremony, those who attend public meetings and go to the cinema,” he added.
Sarma said the country’s largest festival, Rongali Bihu in mid-April, will be permitted to be celebrated without limitation.
The celebration was not held in 2020 due to national locking.
Last year, the celebration was held on a low scale under the covid limit.
He said Covid hospitals in Sarusaja did not have patients today at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital, the number of covid patients was less than 50.
