Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Saturday issued an order that provides former Minister of B S S Yediyurappa all facilities equivalent to the ministers ranked cabinet.
This will be valid until the basilvaraj bommai in the office, official notification of the Wing Protocol of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reform (DPAR) said.
The end of the month of speculation during the release, Yediyurappa on July 26 has resigned as CM Karnataka, to coincide with his government completed two years to position.
Bommai, who succeeded Yediyurappa, is expected to remain in the post until the next assembly selection in 2023.
Yediyurappa does not have an official position besides being a MLA of the Shikaripura assembly constituency.
According to official sources, in addition to salaries, the rating of the minister’s cabinet has the right to specific benefits and facilities for vehicles, official accommodation, among others.
