Dibrugarh: Kumkum Pegu, a 5-year-old girl who was kidnapped by drug addicts while playing near her house in the Dhemuji District of Jonai City on Wednesday night, finally saved from Sika Todes Village in the East Siang District Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.
After a long search for 23 hours by Police Assam, Arunachal Pradesh police who were assisted by the local public and volunteer from Adi-Mising Baane Kebarread (AmBK) and Takam Mising Porin Kebarread (Tmpk).
He was saved from Chang Ghar who was left behind (the original cottage built on the stage of the bamboo and wooden pole) located in the woods around 5am on Thursday.
Kumkum, the daughter of the officer of the Jonai Prashanta Fire Station and Bornali Pegu lost while playing near Gandhi Field close to his house on Wednesday.
