Kurukshetra: In the case of torturing a man to buy a stolen mobile by the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), Kurukshetra Superintendent from Police (SP) Ashnu Singla suspended Sub-Inspector (SI) and sent another four to the police line including SI, Police Chief (HC) and two constables.
SP has also marked an investigation into the department of police officials concerned.
Police spokesman Kurukshetra said that in the case of 772/2021 dated December 22, 2021, registered at the Police Station Gate Krishna, some negligence was found in the police official in arresting Rohtash of Krishna Nagar Gamdi, Kurukshetra.
“Because of the negligence adopted, Kurukshetra SP Anshu Singla suspended the Daljit Singh posted at the CIA-II and sent the Balwant Singh, HC Baldev Singh, and Constable Sanjeev Kumar and Dinesh to the police.
SP also ordered an investigation of the department on all this police officer concerned “, said the spokesman.
On February 12, the CIA-II had picked up Rohtash and the police claimed that they recovered one of the stolen phones from him and secured his foster rights.
Rohtash accused him of being tortured so he had to be hospitalized with a broken thigh bone.
Indri MLA Ram Kumar Kashyap from the same Rohtash community has visited to meet him at the LNJP Civil Hospital in Thanarar, Kurukshetra, and demanded action against the wrong police officials.
