PATIALA: The commission agent’s trade license (Arhtiya), which allegedly burdened farmer products in the Dhablan wheat market in the Patiala district, has been suspended for seven days.
The wheat market fell under the Patiala market committee and the action was taken by his secretary Parampal Singh while checking Mandis after the instructions of the deputy commissioner of Sandeep Hans.
District Bath Officer (DMO) Ajypal Singh Brar said that the Bath board official examined all procurement centers in the district and during random examinations, a company was found guilty with a weight of 800g more per bag was 37.5kg per bag.
