New Delhi: Substitute for the Minister of Chief Justice Yediyurappa will be announced in a few days, a Senior BJP leader said.
The leader told the subsequent minister will be decided in the party legislative party to meet in Bengaluru whose observers will be appointed on Monday.
No one pressed me to resign, said Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa “The decision about the leader of the Yediyurappa Lingayat was resolved during the last visit to the national capital when he asked the top party leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” added the leader.
The party leader said there was a consensus among all leaders, including Yediyurappa, that he had to stop and pave the way for younger leaders to take over.
It will also help the head of the next minister to prepare the Assembly poll in 2023.
While Yediyurappa made an announcement to stop, the Senior BJP leaders have a series of meetings.
