Guwahati: Minister of Health Assam Keshab Mahanta on Wednesday warned that those who would not be vaccinated would be seized with government facilities.
He spoke at a review meeting, held at the Hall of Conference Deputy Cecarmrup (DC’s DC), to take stock of vaccination status in the countryside district.
The meeting was attended by Kamrup DC Kailash Kailthik N as well as administrative and health department officials.
“People who meet the requirements will be deprived of government facilities in the future, if they do not take Covid vaccines.
So, collect information based on the structure of the election, and give a vaccine to all people who meet the requirements in the district.
Complete the process in September,” Mahanta instructed the district and health authority.
The minister directs officials to implement new strategies to ensure the completion of vaccination processes faster and effectively.
He expressed satisfaction because more than 3.5 lakh people were inoculated in Kamrup in August.
Manganta also instructed to take a vaccination process based on the electoral system to ensure 100% inoculation of people who qualified in this district.
In people like Guwahati’s capital, he said vaccination must be done at the polling station level and even the door to the door if needed.
“Booth level officers, village heads and Asha workers will collect information from where the right list for the same thing must be compiled,” he added.
The minister urged officials to immediately provide training to all who cared.
He also asked them to prepare the format to combine all the necessary steps to collect the required data, so that the new vaccination strategy can be implemented without delay.
