Shimla: Three people, including one of Uttarakhand and two from Rajasthan, were killed in a landslide and shooting stone incident on the Road menu (NH-707) at 11 o’clock in the Sirmaur District in Himachal Pradesh on Monday.
While the victim of Uttarakhand was a taxi driver, those from Rajasthan were laborers.
According to information provided by the Smamur Regional Emergency Operations Center, the shooting stone incident, triggered by landslides, occurred in the road menu where three people were killed and the Pokerane engine was damaged.
The deceased has been identified as a chand of the village of Sainj under Tiyuni Dehradun Regency in Uttarakhand, Jitender Singh from Girwar Hurda Tehsil Village in Bhilwara Regency in Rajasthan and Ashok Village Rajgarh District Churu District in Rajasthan.
The source said some workers worked on the construction of 25 km of Shillai to the menu bridge when landslides occurred.
