Mangaluru: Police Dakshina Kannada arrested three more people on Monday in connection with the Honeytrap case registered at the recent Rural Police Station.
The arrest was Mohammed Syafi, 34, from Netttanigemudnur in Putture, Mohammed Azharuddin, 30, and Nazeer M, 38, from Savanoor in Kadaba.
The defendant was arrested from Sarve in Puttur and the police had recovered around the 7 lakh RS which they were squeezed from the complainant and seized the car worth RS 5 Lakh, Autorickshaw worth Rs 1 Lakh and three cellphones.
SP Rishikesh Sonange said the investigation outperformed others involved in this case.
On July 2, the police arrested a 23-year-old woman from Bantwal Taluk, based on complaints by Abdul Nasir.
