Bengaluru: Traffic police officers in Bengaluru have been suspended after he seemed to kick a woman near the city hall in a video that became viral, told the traffic police in a statement.
Traffic police said that he had attacked him after he tried to hit him with a stone when his car, parked in the zone without parking, pulled.
The incident took place on January 24.
“Narayan’s milk traffic, who allegedly attacked a woman, was suspended on January 29,” the traffic police said in the statement.
“ASI attacked him after a woman was angry and tried to attack her with stones.
When the car was pulled in the no-parking zone,” added the statement.
The woman was sent to the police custody.
