BENGALURU: The Karnataka government on Saturday announced additional comfort of lockdown limitations in 16 districts, such as Bengaluru Urban, of 30 from the country that have less than 5 percent Covid-19 positivity speed.
The relaxations will come in effect from Monday.
It will keep on present limitations (from Stage 1 of ripping ) at 13 districts where positivity rate is between 5 percent and 10 percent.
Mysuru (12 percent ) are the sole district beneath complete lockdown.
Under Stage 2 of ripping in 16 districts, the authorities permitted all retail stores, commercial establishments, resorts, clubs and pubs and restaurants to start until 5pm, moreover green-signalling buses and Metro rail services to run with Covid-19 protocols.
But night curfew would be set up throughout the country between 7pm and 5am daily using weekend lockdown from 7pm on Fridays to 5am on Saturdays.
After fulfilling ministers, members and officials of this Covid-19 Technical Advisory Committee, leader minister BS Yediyurappa said lodges, hotels, health spas and personal offices will be permitted to work with 50 percent potential from the 16 districts with less than 5 percent Covid-19 positivity speed.
These relaxations are going to be from June 21 to July 5.

All authorities personal offices may restart work with 50 percent employees.
Exterior shooting of movies and serials and outside games with no audiences will be permitted.
Gyms can also be permitted to open but with no usage of air conditioning.
“We have provided these relaxations not since Covid seriousness has come but to ease individuals to restart their livelihoods,” the CM said He appealed to people to rigorously follow Covid-19 proper behavior.
Faculties and schools, religious areas, shopping malls, shopping complexes, bars, entertainment swimming pools and places of worship will stay shut.
Parks is going to be open until 6pm.
The ban functions, political parties and meetings could also last.
Dealers are happy the government has enabled all stores and business institutions to open until 5pm.
“Apart from helping increase economic actions, the movement would bring more revenue to the government through taxation,” said Prakash Mandoth, president, Federation Of Karnataka Traders Association.
Even the June 11 order stated limitations will be eased by 6am to 2pm, whereas purchase of essential goods and shipping through e-commerce business continue.
The restrictions have been enforced from April 27 after the everyday infections violated the 50,000 mark.
