Chandigarh: UT government has cut traces of Nature Lake Sukhna towards the tip of the rules to make roads for water from the water catchment area.
It has disappointed visitors who came to observe birds from the end of the lake rules.
The Head of the Debendra Dalai Debendra Dalai Conservator (CCF) said cutting would be filled by the UT Engineering Department as soon as the water level dropped, after that visitors can enjoy the bird watching from the tip of the rules.
However, visitors can still enter the natural lane of Lake Sukhna and enjoy a walk and observe birds from the side of the Club Lake.
This monsoon, the UT government has opened Floodgates Sukhna on five occasions because water has reached a danger of 1,163 feet.
