Guwahati: High-level South Korean delegation led by the Republic of Korea Embassy and the Trade Trade Promotion Agency (Kotra), who met with the Secretary of the State Trade and the Ministry of Industry on Thursday, has expressed interest in investing in health care services, food processing, Infrastructure, and tourism in Assam and bring Korean companies to the region.
Both parties also explore the possibility of collaboration between Korean companies and states in several other sectors such as food processing, infrastructure, and tourism.
The delegation discussed economic and bilateral cooperation between Korea and Assam with Korean officials who expressed interest in health and other projects in the state because they had great potential for health technology, which were mostly not utilized.
