The pre-monsoon season didn’t encounter much rain this season.
From the northeast, the standard date of the coming of the rainy season is June 5.
“Following the storms hit the Kerala coast, in a few days, the storms may arrive at the northeast.
We’re maintaining a close eye on the motion of those oceans,” said a senior officer of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

As of Mondaythe hottest meteorological condition signals that the southwesterly winds can strengthen further slowly from June 1, leading to the possible improvement of rain activity over Kerala.
The Met office saidthat the monsoon onset over Kerala is very likely to occur around June 3.

At the previous 24 hours, Arunachal Pradesh obtained mild to moderate rain at several areas with heavy rain at remote regions.

“Under the effect of the Current weather programs, the NE area is Very Likely to witness mild to medium rain at several to many regions and isolated heavy to very heavy rain with isolated exceptionally heavy rain in Meghalaya in the following 24 hours until Tuesday morning,” that the Met official stated
