Bengaluru: Transportation services to Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) will continue to operate on weekends when covid-induced night hours will apply.
“Airport taxi, car rental services, application-based taxis, BMTC Vajra and KSRTC flybus services will be available on schedule to ensure the experience of a hassle-free travel,” said BIAL in a statement.
Meanwhile, the government has casual restrictions for tourists who stay at hotels, resorts and safari in the forest area.
“Tourists who have vouchers remain valid will be allowed to travel by their cars / taxis and other means of transportation.
There is no limit to in-house guests at the hotel / resort,” said the notice issued by the Tourism Secretary of Pankaj Kumar Pandey.
“All facilities can be opened only for in-house guests.
Guests can check in or outside the hotel with proof of booking.
Safari in the forest area and the sucquaries are permitted, but with the behavior that matches Covid,” said circular.
The temporary supervision steps, given the increase in cases in Goa, South Western Railway (SWR) will implement special supervisory steps for passengers who come by train from the country.
“The SWR will strictly implement the Karnataka Government’s command which is only passengers with a negative RT-PCR certificate that is no more than 72 hours before going up, it will take the train [from Goa], regardless of vaccination status,” SWR said.
“This is mandatory for students and the public who are regular travelers from Goa to Karnataka for various reasons, to test RT-PCR once in 15 days and provide negative reports on demand.”
