GUWAHATI: Assam Congress on Saturday transferred PM Narendra Modi, seeking his intervention to draw the auction note issued by an official liquidator for 2 defunct newspaper mills below the Hindustan Paper Corporation (HPC) in the country.
Assam PCC president and Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora encouraged Modi to Help the Assam government to rekindle both paper manufacturers like the effective takeover of their device of Hindustan Newsprint Limited in Kottayam from the Kerala government.
In his correspondence to Modi, Bora necessitated resurrection of both paper mills and informed him in the BJP’s electoral claims of protecting the public sector undertakings.
