Bengaluru: A 27-year-old Bengaluru woman who went to Abu Dhabi worked as domestic aid underwent a terrible time for four months.
His employer made him work twenty hours a day, without enough food and did not pay it.
He fled by jumping from the window of his employer’s house and then looking for asylum at the Indian Embassy.
He finally reached Bengaluru on Friday.

He finally escaped by jumping from the window of his employer’s house and looking for asylum at the Indian Embassy.
On Friday night, the woman reached Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), the relief returned to a large writing home on his face.
Nimisha (name changed) was born and raised in Bagalur, Bengaluru Urban, and supported his family, including elderly parents and three young brothers, by working as domestic aid in the region.
But the Covid crisis left him unemployed and he struggled to feed the mouth he liked and bought medicines for his parents.
Then he found someone he thought was Godsend: Aisha from Goripalya, an illegal agent, who promised to put it as a domestic aid in Abu Dhabi for monthly payments of Rs 30,000.
“For someone who struggles to fulfill the needs of Bengaluru, the offer is captivating.
So he received it and flew to the UAE in March,” said PN Nagendra Babu, officers attached to the Emigrant Protective Office, Bengaluru, who received Nimisha in Kia.
When landing in Abu Dhabi, Nimisha was accepted by the Sri Lankan agent, which was identified as Ajmal, who led him to his employer, the Emirati family.
But what is waiting for a Bengaluru woman is an endless work, including cleaning, washing and gardening.
“He was awakened at 4 am to work and underwent hard treatment with food, water or change clothes that were not enough.
Even after two months, the family did not pay anything,” said Babu.
Nimisha is not even permitted to save cellphones.
He somehow managed to contact Ajmal and told him his fate.
He, but allegedly asked Rs 3 Lakh to restore his passport.
Finally, on July 25, 2021 when his employer fell asleep, Nimisha jumped from the first floor window from home and ran to the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi determined to return to Bengaluru.
The Embassy team contacted Shubham Singh’s office, IFS, Emigrant Protector, in Bengaluru and the repatriation process began.
After the days of uncertainty, the 27-year-old player landed here with Indian air flights.
The Indian Embassy issued an emergency certificate to travel because he could not take his passport.
The landing in Bengaluru, Nimisha changed emotionally after meeting her brother who had arrived to pick her up.
“I can’t believe me back here.
I just want to go back to my family and start again,” he added with tears.
