Chandigarh: The city on Sunday reported two covid-19 deaths and 808 new cases, the lowest in 11 days.
Both victims were not vaccinated with a single dose.
They are a 69-year-old woman from sector 45 who suffer from hypertension, kidney disease and double organ dysfunction syndrome and a 91-year-old man from Khuda Ali who has a buildup of excess fluid in the lungs.
The level of participants is 14%, at least since January 6.
The active case was 8064, while 1,356 patients were dismissed on Sundays.
The confirmed case was 85,692, including 1,102 deaths.
Until now, 76,526 patients have been repatriated.
In tests per million per day, Chandigarh stands third in the country as analyzed by Dr.
Rijo John, said Professor in Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi.
National active case growth is 5%, while 0.32% in the city.
