Chandigarh: After January 8, the lowest Daily Covid-19 case of 568 was reported in the city on Monday.
There are deaths too.
The victim was a 85-year-old man from sector 7 who had hypertension and hypothyroidism.
He was not vaccinated.
On Sunday, the two people who died were also not vaccinated.
There are 24 deaths in January, with the first year in January 5.
Death is still reported, although cases decreased by 69% since the highest daily surge of 1,843 cases on January 14.
The curve has been flat since January 20.
“The percentage of active case growth nationally decreased from 5% to 4.49%.
The Chandigarh level also decreased from 0.32% to -1.76%,” said Dr.
Rijo John, Adjunct Professor, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi, Kerala.
The level of pepositives on Sundays is 14.49% while cumulative weekly peposititions have 19.14%.
Until now, 396 patients had been hospitalized for oxygen support, while 38 patients were in the ventilator.
Until now, there were 86,260 cases confirmed, including 1,103 deaths.
The active case is 7,768.
On Monday, 863 patients were sent back, taking a recovery count to 77,389.
