Bengaluru: Acting Immediately on the recommendation made by the Technical Advisory Committee, the Government of Karnataka on Monday stated that Indira Gandhi’s Child Health Institute was a Covid Hospital designated for children and Ghouyia, Shivajinagar, for Covid infection.
“With the emergence of the third wave of Covid and a surge in the number of cases of covid among children and women, it is considered necessary to have exclusive care facilities for these groups,” said D Randeep, Commissioner, Ministry of Health, published circular on Monday.
Bengaluru (9,221 infection) continues to take into account more than 75% of cases of state.
